Cineflix Rights Signs Package of Deals with Central and Eastern European Broadcasters

Cineflix Rights has signed deals amounting to more than 400 hours of programming with broadcasters in Central and Eastern Europe in the lead up to, and around Natpe Budapest. The sales reflect Cineflix Rights’ position as one of the region’s leading international suppliers of blue-chip factual titles and high-rating, long-running food and property series from both Cineflix Productions and third party producers.

Cineflix Rights has sold titles including Mayday: Air Disaster, Cold Blood and Huge Moves to CET21 in the Czech Republic.

In Hungary, Chello Central Europe has signed deals for Property Brothers, Buying and Selling, Inside the Box With Ty Pennington, My House, Your Money, Conviction Kitchen, The Unsellables, Murder She Solved, Cold Blood, Dinner Party Wars and Family Food Challenge.

In Poland, TVN has bought Massive Moves, Final 24 and Zoo Tales: Birth of a Baby Elephant, while Discovery Poland has bought titles including Cold Blood, My Teenage Weddings and Ten Days to Victory.

Additionally, Zonemedia Europe has bought titles including A Gypsy Life for Me, Border Security and Medical Emergency, while Astana TV Kazakhstan has signed up to In-Law Wedding Wars. CME Romania has bought Mayday: Air Disaster.

We’ve already raised our deals by more than 100 per cent over the last two years in territories such as Russia, the Baltic States and Ukraine. We are also targeting growth in other territories in the region and pleased that we’ve already signed deals in countries such as Kazakhstan and Romania as well as pan-EMEA broadcasters.”
