Cineflix Rights Appoints Noel Hedges as Senior Vice President, Acquisitions

Cineflix Rights, one of the UK’s leading independent television distributors has appointed Noel Hedges in the newly created role of Senior Vice President, Acquisitions, where he will be responsible for driving the division’s ambitious third party acquisitions strategy.

Hedges joins Cineflix Rights in September and will report to Chris Bonney, CEO of Rights, Cineflix Media. The appointment will drive Cineflix Rights’ strategy of expanding its third party catalogue of scripted, formatted and factual content.

As SVP of Acquisitions at Shine International, Hedges led the company’s US and UK acquisitions teams and was responsible for the company’s programming portfolio across all genres, managing the distribution of programming from the Shine Group companies, including Kudos, Dragonfly, Princess and Shine, and acquiring content from leading independent producers around the world.

Prior to joining Shine International, Hedges held roles including SVP, Americas and Head of Drama and Comedy for ITV Studios Global Entertainment and VP Sales for French speaking Europe, Scandinavia and Benelux.
