Cineflix Rights Launches New Slate at MIPCom 2012 and Celebrates Tenth Anniversary in Cannes

Cineflix Rights, one of the UK’s leading independent television content distributors, is celebrating its tenth anniversary at MIPCom 2012 with a slate of new programming.

Among the 22 new shows Cineflix Rights is bringing to MIPCom are Claimed and Shamed (10x30’, format), a fast-moving new observational documentary series that follows a crack team of investigators as they hunt down some of the UK’s most outrageous insurance fraudsters; Wives with Knives (6x60’), which features interviews and the key players to tell gripping stories of women who have committed violent crimes against their husbands or lovers; and Karma is a B*tch (6x30’) in which The Sopranos’ Steve Schirripa reveals stories of just how far some people are willing to go to balance the scales of justice and get revenge.

Chris Bonney, CEO of Rights, Cineflix Media said: “As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, I’m looking forward to building on the success of our last decade.  Growing our third party unscripted programming activity through new producer partnerships, developing more cutting edge content designed for the digital marketplace, and increasing the volume of scripted hours we represent will help us achieve our ambitions as we open the next chapter of the Cineflix Rights story.  Our core offering remains the same – a dedicated, professional sales team with a global perspective - which delivers results for all our customers worldwide.”
