Cineflix Announces Executive Promotions for Unscripted Team in North America
MONTREAL, 7 November 2013 – International television producer and distributor Cineflix Media Inc. announced today four promotions in its North American unscripted division.
Charles Tremayne, currently EVP, has been promoted to President, Production, and will continue to oversee all unscripted production in Canada and the US. Charles reports into Cineflix Media Co-Founder and Co-CEO Glen Salzman.
Cineflix Media has also begun a search for a Creative Director for Canada and the US, reporting to Glen Salzman. This follows the decision by Jodi Flynn, currently an EVP, Programming, to leave Cineflix later this month to start her own production company. After leaving, Jodi will continue to act as a Co-Executive Producer on a number of Cineflix pilots that are currently in production for US networks.
Alongside the promotion of Charles Tremayne, Cineflix Media has promoted Kim Bondi to EVP, Production, reporting to Charles. At the same time, Sherri Rufh becomes SVP, Production and Administration, and Lynn Van Rooyen becomes SVP, Post Production.
The company is pleased to report a successful fall season, during which time it greenlit a number of new shows including pilots for TLC, A&E and BIO, as well as recommissions for some of Cineflix Productions’ most successful brands including Food Factory (Food Network Canada), American Pickers (History US), Murder in Paradise and Karma's A B*tch! (Investigation Discovery), and Mayday: Air Crash Investigation (Discovery Canada and National Geographic International).
Cineflix Media Co-Founder and Co-CEO Glen Salzman said: “We continue to strengthen our senior production team with these promotions. Charles and Kim have delivered some of Cineflix’s biggest brands over the last few years and helped expand our slate into new areas. In their new roles, alongside Sherri and Lynn, they will be ensuring our existing and new programming maintains the high quality our broadcaster partners know us for.”
“We wish Jodi every success with her new venture; this is a very exciting move for her,” Mr Salzman added. “We look forward to building our creative team further and announcing more greenlights in the near future.”
