Cineflix wins International Emmy® Kids Award for Pet School
Cineflix has won a prestigious International Emmy® Kids Award for its programme Pet School, in the Kids: Non-Scripted Entertainment category.
The show, which has now run for two seasons on the BBC’s CBBC Channel, is a fun and informative format. On Pet School, children learn what it really takes to look after animals. For two weeks, nine kids work and play alongside a menagerie of cool creatures. With cameras capturing every hilarious and touching moment, their goal is to convince mom and dad they’ve got what it takes to have their own animal companion. There’s plenty of animal love in every direction and along the way, kids learn practical tips for looking after creatures of all shapes and sizes.
Cineflix Productions UK Creative Director Rob Carey said: “Pet School was one of the first Children’s BBC projects that Camilla and I got commissioned for Cineflix Productions UK and we are thrilled to receive this accolade. We are particularly grateful to CBBC for backing the concept and look forward to the continued success of the series.”
Pet School was executive produced by Cineflix Productions UK Managing Director Camilla Lewis and Nick Cory-Wright. Both seasons (20 x 30’) are distributed internationally by Cineflix Rights.
