Brandon Killion Joins Cineflix in EVP of Programming and Development Role
The international television producer and distributor behind American Pickers and the expanding Property Brothers franchise, Cineflix Media Inc., has tapped Brandon Killion for the role of EVP of Programming and Development, North America. The move reinforces Cineflix’s ongoing commitment to attracting key production executives and top talent to create world class original content.
Based in Los Angeles and reporting to Cineflix Media founders and Co-CEOs, Glen Salzman and Katherine Buck, Killion will oversee unscripted development for broadcasters in both the US and Canada. In his new role, Brandon will work closely with President of Production Charles Tremayne and EVP of Production Kim Bondi to further expand Cineflix’s slate in Toronto, New York, and Los Angeles.
Cineflix Media Co-Founder and Co-CEO Glen Salzman said: “Brandon has been a part of some of the biggest and most successful current TV brands and has the skill set and creative pulse to develop groundbreaking new shows. He’s a great addition to the Cineflix team. We’re looking forward to working closely with our broadcast partners to expand the Cineflix brand in both the US and Canada.”
Before joining Cineflix, Killion headed up production at US indie Gurney Productions, where he oversaw an impressive slate that included A&E record setter Duck Dynasty, as well as Haunted Collector, Auction Hunters, and American Diggers. Prior to that, Killion spent seven years at Thom Beers’ Original Productions where he cast and developed such titles as Ax Men and Swords: Life on the Line and later showran American Hoggers and Ice Road Truckers.
Brandon Killion said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Cineflix and thankful for the amazing opportunity to serve with Glen, Katherine and the rest of the team. I’ve been fortunate in the past to work with and learn from some of the best in the business, and I’m excited to continue that at Cineflix in my new role.”
Cineflix has offices in Toronto, Montreal, New York, Los Angeles, London and Dublin, and produces more than 250 hours of programming per year.
