Cineflix Rights signs partnership deal with CMJ Productions Inc. at MIPTV 2014

MIPTV 2014, Cannes: Cineflix Rights, one of the UK’s leading independent television content distributors, has signed a new producer partnership deal with Canada’s CMJ Productions which will see Cineflix Rights having exclusive distribution rights to more than 160 hours of programming.

CMJ Productions is an award-winning producer best known for its highly successful and long-running crime brands airing on networks including Investigation Discovery US and Canada, History Channel US, Discovery UK, and Canal D Canada. The company’s recent successes include Imposters (6x60’, Investigation Discovery US and Canada, Canal Vie Canada), as well Boogeymen (13x60’), Home Made (13x60’), and Bad Trip (13x60’) – all for Canada’s Évasion. Also included as part of the deal are upcoming shows Celebrity Damage Control (26x60’) and Celebrity Legacies (26x60’), both due to air on US network Reelz.

The partnership deal was announced at MIPTV by Cineflix Rights’ Director of Commercial and Digital Media Pablo Salzman and Lou Occhicone COO of CMJ Distribution Inc.

Cineflix Rights has built successful relationships with more than 65 producer partners, who provide the third-party content making up around half of the distributor’s 3600 hour catalogue. These partners include: LMNO Productions (US), Windfall Films (UK), October Films (UK), Impossible Pictures (UK), Hoodlum (Australia), Indigo Films (US), and Waddell Media (Ireland).
