Cineflix Rights signs raft of pre-NATPE MIAMI deals
Cineflix Rights, one of the UK’s leading independent television distributors, has signed a raft of sales deals with pan-Latin American and US Hispanic broadcasters in advance of NATPE MIAMI 2015.
Discovery Latin America has bought some of Cineflix Rights’ most popular and long running property brands for its Home and Health channel including Brother Vs. Brother (seasons 1 and 2, 12x60’, Scott Brothers Entertainment), The Property Brothers at Home (4x60’, Scott Brothers Entertainment), Property Brothers (season 5, 26x60’, Cineflix Productions), and Buying & Selling (season 3, 26x60’, Cineflix Productions). The deal also includes LMNO Productions’ hit crime show Unusual Suspects (season 7, 13x60’).
Celebrity related programming is also in demand with buyers in the region and Turner Broadcasting Latin America has signed a deal for Hollywood One on One for its TNT channel (50x30’, Scott Patrick Productions).
The deals were negotiated by Sabrina Ayala, VP and General Manager, Italy, Iberia, and Latin America who is attending NATPE MIAMI.
Chris Bonney, CEO Rights, Cineflix Media said: “We’re really pleased to be maintaining our strong relationships with our Latin American broadcast partners through these latest deals as we head off to NATPE MIAMI. Latin America is a key region for Cineflix Rights so we’re looking forward to premiering a number of new shows in Miami as well as looking to acquire content from producers at the market.”
Cineflix Rights will have a suite at NATPE MIAMI in the Fontainebleau Hotel’s Sorrento Tower, 7th Floor, Suite 30709, with Lucinda Gergley-Garner, SVP of Sales and Acquisitions, North America and Pablo Salzman, Director of Commercial and Digital Media attending alongside Sabrina Ayala.
