The extreme hill shepherds of My Big Family Farm are back. And, on the much-loved spinoff Beyond the Farm: Men at Work, viewers join father Clive and his now 18-year-old son Reuben as the resourceful teen kicks off his first year in the digging business.

Reuben’s free-range childhood on one of the most rugged and remote farms in Britain has prepared him to take on the world. And with support from Dad, youthful energy, and his own finances on the line, Reuben enlists the help of girlfriend Sarah and best mate Tom. As the teenage trio work flat out during the hottest summer on record, they tackle supersize excavation and building projects, claim their independence, hatch plans for the future, and wrangle a second-hand fleet of oversize rusty machinery to get the job done.
