Program Details

Six years after quitting the Paris police force and abandoning the hunt for a serial killer, Rebecca is back on the job. And as she investigates a spate of brutal murders that all carry the same signature, she becomes convinced the killer has resurfaced. Obsessed with the case, betrayed by her husband, and hampered by both depression and crippling blackouts, she throws herself into work to avoid falling apart. But Rebecca’s attempts to track down the murderer only bring her demons to the surface.

When one of the victims turns out to be her husband’s young mistress, Rebecca struggles to piece together the fragments of her erratic memory. And, as the evidence piles up, she is faced with the terrifying realization that she herself may be the culprit.

Overwhelmed by emotion and by the unraveling relationship with her children, Rebecca is haunted by a traumatic family event she doesn’t remember. Struggling to discern fact from fiction, she tries to hide her spiraling reality from those around her—all while uncovering the truth of the investigation, and her own painful past.

In this fast-paced crime thriller, based on the international hit series Marcella from Hans Rosenfeldt and Nicola Larder, Anne Marivin (Call My Agent!) takes the lead, alongside Benjamin Biolay (Captain Marleau), Samir Guesmi (The Returned), Valérie Karsenti (Household Scenes), Gregory Montel (Call My Agent!), comedian and actor Baptiste Lecaplain, Clotilde Courau, Patrick Timsit, Ophélia Kolb, Moussa Mansaly (Validé), Salim Kechiouche, and Pauline Cheviller (Balthazar).

A TF1 Original, Rebecca is directed by Didier Le Pêcheur (Innocents), co-written by Le Pêcheur and Delphine Labouret (Innocents), and produced by Elephant (Gaëlle Cholet and Sandra Ouaiss).
