Worried her family is about to cancel their epic Christmas Olympics, Jessie Chamberlain tells her mom she’s inviting ‘someone special’ to the long-standing holiday tradtion. She meets an eligible bachelor on a dating app who agress to play Mr. Right.
Bryan, a successful real estate developer now in charge of his late father’s business, steps in as Jessie’s plus-one. With instant chemistry, the two nail the boyfriend-girlfriend act amid hilarious family antics like the search for the Christmas tree star, a snowball fight and a gift-wrapping contest. Soon her family begins to catch on to their secret, and Bryan suspects she may be hiding the real reason for her unusual date request. As the celebrations continue, Jessie must work to keep all her stories straight and save her date with Bryan.
The movie stars Robert Buckley as Bryan and Amy Groening as Jessie. Bradley Walsh directs from a script written by Ramona Barckert.
